Last weekend we entered two international shows in two different countries:

Saturday we were in Milano (Italy) where Berry competed in open class under judge Lisbeth Mach (CH)

He did well, but the judge preferes smaller RR, Berry was rated excellent and placed 4.th.

Dakota in puppy class did fantastic, she stacked herself and moved very nicely, but the judge did not like the fact that we use food as bait in the ring (I really don’t know why, everybody was doing the same….) so she was rated very perspective and placed 2.nd.

We are proud of her anyway !

On Sunday we were in Ljubljana (SLO).

Berry entered in champion class, under judge Josef Nemec (CZ) and as always he was the youngest in the ring (sometimes I forget he’s not ever 2 years old..)

I am very satisfied how we performed, he got a very nice report, and was rated excellent, placed 2. with RCAC and RCACIB.

Dakota ruled the ring, she did really good, and was rated again very perspective, 1. BEST PUPPY !!

Laste minute news !

Berry competed in champion class at the CACIB ZAGREB. He actually already is croatian champion, but we went to the competition for presenting Dakota so we let him do the show too, and guess what…. HE WON !!

It was a strong champion class (so said the judge, Wieslava Misterka.Kluska (PL)  and at the age of 20 months he was the youngest in the showring, he got EXC 1. CAC and RCACIB, we are absolutely proud of him !

Dakota gave her best too ! At the age of 4 months she joined the baby class, and was rated very perspective, 1 best baby !

She performed fantastic, stood perfectly, moved nicely, the judge gave her an excellent for the behavior in her report, SHE IS NOT A PRINCESS; SHE IS ALREADYour QUEEN !!!

Last weekend we took part to the international show in Vrtojba/Šempeter (Slovenia). Berry competed for the first time in CHAMPION CLASS, and I was very exited about that, because he is still very young (not jet 20 months !)

It turned out that I had no reason to be worried, because he did it again:  HE WON BOTH DAYS !!!!

-SATURDAY he performed at his best, I was absolutely proud of him, he stand perfectly, he moved proudly and powerfully, the judge Dorota Witkowska (PL) gave him an EXCELLENT 1.  with CAC, CACIB and BOB !!!

In the afternoon we competed in the group, the judge was Robin Searle (UK) and Berry performed also very well, we got it to the podium, with a nice 3th place.

-SUNDAY judge Robin Searle (UK) was judging the breed competition, he also gave him an EXCELLENT 1. with CAC , but he honestly said he prefers small size ridgebacks, and my boy is powerful and full of muscles,  not his type I am afraid, but Berry got a very nice report, and we are absolutely happy with this results !

Unfortunately for closing the slovenian championship we must wait one year, so the 4 CAC we already got, cannot be validable for the champion title. We also got our 3 rd. CACIB validable for the international title.

On Saturday little Dakota joined the baby class  with my daughter Andrea, it was the very first time for both of them, and they did very well !

Dakota was rated “very perspective” 1. best baby, she also got a very nice report !

Last weekend we competed in Koper (SLO), again in intermedia class.

In the ring very nice RR, but Berry performed at his best, stacked looked great, his gate was so elegant, everybody told me how fantastic he did, even the judge on sunday congratulated for the nice presentation, I am really very proud of him, I knew he had it inside, and it was only my task to get it out from him.

We had a great time in the ring, my boy enjoyed every second with me, and the same was for me. As the judge put us first, Berry knew before me, he started jumping on me, smiling and shaking his tail of happiness !!!! He feels it, we are so connected in the ring, that we read each other without words.

This weekend was for us one of the best performance ever, I hope we will continue enjoying showing like this…

It was a long weekend.

I had to fly ti Riga, in Latvia, where mom Biruta with his doughter Ieva waited for me at the airport.

It was beautiful to meet them and to spent some time with them, they are very nice people, but the most beautiful thing was my little love, the lovely baltic princess Dakota, our puppy girl, she was waiting for me in the apartment, with her brothers and sisters and of course with her beautiful mom Moka.

We spent some time together with all the puppies, and in the night she stayed at the hotel with me, so we bond immediately, than we returned home the next day, flying back to Vienna, than traveling by train to Zagreb, where my husband and Berry where waiting for us. She was very brave and calm all the way, I am proud of her !!! But as soon as we arrived home, she and Berry where so happy to meet each other than they could not stop playing together, so the played all night long !!!! In the morning they were so tired that they felt asleep together near to our bed, so cute….

I want to thank my breeder Biruta Velmere and her beautiful daughter Ieva, who were so nice with me, and first of all they CHOSE me, so I could take little Dakota with me.

I also want to thank Snezka, Cubo’s owner, Cubo is the awesome dad of my puppy, and she was also there for me, she helped to contact Biruta and Ieva, and all these wonderful women made my dream come true !! THANK YOU ALL !!!

Last weekend we went to Trieste (Italy) to take part to an international show on Saturday and a clubshow on Sunday. Berry was very successful ,on both days:

Saturday under judge K. Agnes from Izrael, he won the intermediate class with exc. and the judge gave him CAC and CACIB !!! What made me proud is how the judge described him in two world which says everything: POWERFUL AND ELEGANT !!! This is the quintessence of a ridgeback, isn’t it?

On Sunday under the italian judge Franco Ferrari we won the intermediate class of the clubshow,with exc. and later Berry got also the CAC (as you know in Italy only one dog can get a CAC, that dog was Berry  BOTH DAYS !!!!)

Soooo…. we cannot be more HAPPY and PROUD of our young boy who’s really doing fantastic .

Ah! I almost forgot, Berry on Saturday was exactly 18 months old !  WELL DONE KID!!!

We are happy to present you Dakota, our little girl from Latvia.

She will soon join our happy family, and we are very grateful to her breeder, Biruta Velmere, and her daughter Ieva, who believed in me, and chose me as the new owner of such a jewel.

Dakota’s parents are wonderful, the sire is int. ch. Myollnir Kyala “Cubo” from Slovenia (which’s sire won Crufts and World championship the same year) from very interesting bloodlines, the dam is beautiful Naitingeila Moka Farastero Sinbest, “Moka” which comes from a unique combination of russian/african’s bloodlines. Both parents are very successful in the show ring, as their ancestors were, so we are sure little Dakota will be a beautiful new member of our pack !!!
