TEMPERAMENT:

It took me 2 years to find a way to describe Lana’s character, and even now I am not sure I will find the right words.

She is simply unique….. She is such a wonderful companion… Her nature is totally friendly and solar and happy and energetic and sweet……and and…. she loves everybody and everybody loves her, she has always an opinion of her own about everything, and is able to discuss it with you if she disagrees !! She always finds a way to tell you what she thinks. What amazes me most is her incredible sense of humor and the fact that she has it since puppyhood ! This is the main reason why she is the one I wanted to keep… She was a funny little puppy, always the first to start a new game and to invite the other littermates to partecipate. Today she’s not different ! Only the older dogs are not always willing to play her game, so she has to find other playmates to free her creativity. Her favourite playmate is her own sister Zuri (Miss Pink) when they are together nobody is safe ! Their energy is incredible and they run run run and play like there is no tomorrow…. When I tell Lana “Where is Zuri?” She goes balistic of happyness and she looks everywere to find her.

Yes, Lana has lots of energy but she can be quiet and polite and sweet,she actually is very kind to everybody and loves to cuddle with all kind of people and strangers, only if you can take a few kisses back from her. Lana is very intelligent, if she meets a problem she will find a solution, like for example the way she makes it easier for me to take her collar off when we come back home, without kneeling or stooping: she climbs the stairs till the 5th. stair then she stops and turn her head offering her neck to me, so that her neck is at the right height and I can take off the collar easily… 🙂 Nobody told her to do so, she figured it out on her own, and now her mother is starting to imitate her and does the same….Lana learns fast and is very willing to cooperate. She can be a couch potato but only after she gets her dayly play session with other dogs or a good running with me on the bike. Lana is my shadow…. she is my soulmate, she simply gets me, she loves me and wants to be always by my side. Sometimes I think my life would never have been so fulfilled without her, that much she means to me…..
