BERRY GOT A NEW TITLE !

Last Sunday we went to Italy in Monza with both our dogs. Berry competed in open class, Dakota in Young class. They bot did absolutely great: Berry got Exc. 1 and won his last CAC to finish the champion title, so he is now ITALIAN CHAMPION !!! He was also BEST MALE and BOS. Unfortunately he did not get the BOB, but for the first time I am happy of that, because OUR GIRL DID !!! Dakota was rated exc. 1, BEST YOUNG, BEST FEMALE and BOB !!! What a nice weekend…Image

RRCI TRISSINO, GREAT WEEKEND IN ITALY !

Last weekend we were in Italy near Vicenza to take part to the italian Clubshow.

It was a really nice weekend in a fabulous place: Villa MArzotto in Trissino (actually the same place from last year)

The show had 69 entries, and Berry joined the open class (just to explain how it works:  in Italy you cannot get a CAC in champion class,  and the class winner of the open class competes against the intermediate class winner because there will be just one CAC for a male and one CAC for a female in the whole show, these are the Italian regulations, and to close the Italian beauty championship you need 6 CACs, at least 2 from an international show, 2 from a Clubshow and 2 can be of a national show, you understand how difficult it is to get the 2 CACs from the clubshow, with so many other beautiful dogs, and the possibility for only one dog to get it…. )

This time we got lucky ! The judge Mr. F. Arniella from Puerto Rico liked Berry so much, he told me he is an overall balanced dog, with a beautiful head and ridge, excellent angulated with a beautiful front and a strong rear, he said he was pleased to have him in the ring ! Guess what: he won the open class (out od 10 other males) and then again he won the CAC against the intermediate class winner, so Berry is now very close to finish his title (we already have 5 CACs, 2 from the Cluzbshows and 3 from International show) .

He did fantastic, and I am very proud of him!!

After the show we joined all the other participants for a social dinner in the Villa, we had a great time with very nice people and friends.

This time Dakota stayed home, she has false pregnancy.

BERRY DID IT !!!

What a wonderful day !!! We went on the WDS last sunday in Salzburg, Berry competed in Champion class, we all knew what a big and strong concurrency it would have been in the ring, 38 champions from allover the world !!! Can you imagine my feeling? I am a beginner, so my expectation was just an excellent, but deep in my heart I knew Berry could make it, because he is really an amazing dog, POWERFUL but ELEGANT, with an harmonic ground covering gate and a very sound conformation, and a beautiful beautiful head.

The judge was one of the best: Hans Muller (CH) and I must say, he really noticed my dog from the very beginning, so we went trough the first cut, then the second, and then he left 4 dogs…. I was happy anyway, and I would have gone home happy with a 4th. place, HEY IT’S A WORLD DOG SHOW !!! But Berry had his 5 minutes of glory, and the judge looked at me and raised his finger…. FIRST PLACE !!!!!! OH GOD, WHAT A MOMENT !!!! THANKS to everybody for your tears with me, for your hugs, for your support, in the world of showing dogs you can really find true friends, who compete against you, but who can also be happy for you when you win, I LOVE YOU PEOPLE !!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!!!

BERRY WINS HIS CLASS EVERY DAY ON THE MEDITERRANEAN WEEK SHOWS !!!

Unbelievable !! Last week-end we joined the competitions of the “Mediterranean week” which means three different shows taking place in Montecarlo, Sanremo and Nice.

Berry joined the champion class, and every day was judged by a different judge (from Italy, UK and France) and EVERY DAY he was rated excellent and took the first place OF THE CHAMPION CLASS !!!

I am very proud of him, especially because the best result was on sunday in Sanremo, when the judge was Brenda Banbury, famous Cruft BIS and GROUP judge, who choose him as BEST MALE of the breed !!!

Little Dakota made her debut in junior class, I was a little concerned because on the last show she barked in the ring (I guess she was tired of showing so often) so we did not show her for two months, but we took long walks in the city around a lot of people, we joined ring training, and she was sometime with me in the office, also surrounded by different people, so on the day of the show I knew she was ready and SHE DID GREAT, she was rated excellent and placed 1. on the first day, then 2.

We still need to work on the bite examination, but she is 9 months old, I know she will learn to tolerate it.

So, we are just happy and proud of this great results !!!!

BERRY BEST MALE

BERRY QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS 2013 !!!

Last weekend we went to Italy again, this time Reggio Emilia.

The show on Saturday was international and  “the one” for the Crufts qualification.

Berry competed in open class, Under Judge Jochen Eberhardt he was rated Excellent, 1.place CAC and CACIB , so YES, WE GOT THE CRUFTS QUALIFICATION!!!!

He got a very nice report too, the judge liked him very much, especially his fantastic movements.

Sunday the judge was Sandra Piscedda, Berry competed again in open class, and won his class again !!!

So he was rated Excellent 1.place, RCAC and RCACIB and a very nice report too, with great appreciation for his movements.

What can I say? Berry is a wonderful dog, that’s a fact ! And we are so proud of him!!!

BERRY STUD DOG

Today’s news made me very proud and happy: Berry got his breeding license !

He passed the examination and was rated excellent.

The judge was very impressed, he told me he is a very beautiful dog, of ideal size, very strong and correct in everything !

With a BIG SMILE he gave me the license and said Berry’s ready to mate !

So, we will now hope he’ll soon find a suitable girlfriend.

BERRY’S NEW TITLE

On the international show in Graz (AUSTRIA) Berry finished yesterday his JCH AUSTRIAN title.

The judge was Dr.Mag Otto Schimpf,  in intermediate class Berry was rated excellent 1. place, CACA.In Austria you can use one CACA from the intermediate class to close the junior CH. AUSTRIAN title, and that is what we are going to do!

We are very proud of Berry’s results !

NICE WEEKEND IN MONTICHIARI

Last weekend we competed in Italy again, Montichiari this time.

Berry joined the open class (you cannot get a CAC in champion class in Italy, they have different regulations) Dakota joined the puppy class

The first day was a CACIB, and the judge was Mr. John Wauben (NL)

Berry won the class, was rated excellent, 1. CAC and also won the CACIB, this is what the judge wrote in his report:

” 22 months very nice muscular type, nice masculine head, good skull, nice expression nice muzzle well carried ears good teeths, nice neck and topline, correct crowns and ridge, well angulated,  good forechest and ribcage, foot suff. strong, good bone, well muscled, warm color, nice temperament. Well carried tail, movements and drive – excellent.”

Dakota was rated very perspective 1. and this is her report:

” 6 months very nice and well developing female type, good outline well set ears, good expression muzzle developing, nice neck and topline good crowns, well angulated. Ribcage developing, good feet already good muscled, movement puppy drive- very promising. ”

The second day it was a club show, the judge and breed specialist was Jane Antony from Ireland.

Berry in open class got Exc. and placed 2.with a nice report, Dakota in puppy class barked in the ring… I think she was a little tired from the long journey, the judge could not place her, but she was overwhelmed by her beauty, so we got this report:

” STUNNING PUPPY near perfect in any way  should be my class winner ”

We are about to join puppy school and ring training, so I am sure she will get used to ring procedure and judge examination.

WE are absolutely happy about this reports !!!
