Dakota, on her 54 day of pregnancy, with a big belly, still looks wonderful, to me even more beautiful than ever.. .

Let’s the countdown begin………

Today we have noticed for the first time some movements in Dakota’s belly!!! She is doing fine, the belly is growing fast, and she starts feeling a little bit unconfortable with her size. We go for long walks on a regulary base, but she starts making our walks shorter. She gets now 3 smaller meals a day, and one extra meal of puppy milck. She is very calm and loving,during the day at home she rests on her favourite spot, but she is also getting familiar with the whelping box. Everything is perfect so far…

In kennel Mkondo wa Simba, Berrys puppies are already 6 weeks old, and they all look gorgeous !

Mama Zara is always taking good care of them.

Today we went to the vet for an ultrasound, and the vet confirmed that Dakota is pregnant !!!

We saw minimum 6 puppies, but it could be more.

We are very happy !!!

Yesterday the very first litter sired by Berry had his first birthday. This is my little present for them….

Apollo who died in a terrible car accident being just 3 months old, is also remembered….

The moment of true has come !

Two evenings ago I let Berry and Dakota out for the usual last round in the garden, and to my big surprise she decided it was the right moment  !! Everything happened absolutely spontaneously and naturally. I just assisted after they were locked to ensure none of them get hurt. My husband did not see me coming back, and he reached me……surprise surprise !! I was  sitting on the ground holding the dogs …..hihi… but the funniest thing was when my neighbour came out from his house and looked at me sitting there…. I just told him ” no comment, please…”

The day after we thougt maybe we should let Berry rest, but he was faster then our thougts…. they did it again ! So we have till now 2 successfully matings, and now Berry is resting at work with me…
